Yahoo search scores over Google in American Customer Satisfaction
For the first time since the year 2002 when Google was included in the rankings for American Customer Satisfaction Index for Internet search engines, the Yahoo search engine has outpaced Google search.
The ACSI gives Google an index of 78 while Yahoo leads by a minimum margin with an index of 79.
Last year Google and Yahoo had indexes of 81 and 76 respectively which means Yahoo has improved by 3.9% while Google has deproved by 3.7%.
Google has always been numero uno in the search engine industry for
several years now and though the above indices speak nothing about actual traffic volumes or about the postion in countries other than America, this could well be a wake up call for Google.
